Cluedo Part Two

With all the skill of a Cluedo detective I have found out who suggested La Fille would be "prettier without her glasses" for her class photo. It was dirty work. La Fille refused to snitch even when offered an amnesty of sweets, ice-cream and lollipops to name the guilty party. Since torture was not an option and dangling her upside down while tickling her feet did not work. I gave up on her. La Fille's teacher was an easy touch; I didn't even have to turn hissy before she fingered the culprit. Under questioning she admitted she had also been surprised to see La Fille was not wearing her spectacles. It was the directrice wot did it, she informed me.

Turns out it was indeed the headmistress in the gymnasium with the camera. Yikes. What do I do now? Perhaps it was a good job I had the weekend to climb down from the ceiling.

You've done the detective work, now hire the hitman. My rates are competitive...

Personally I'd go for the jugular. Does the headmistress wear glasses?I was just thinking, if she did wear glasses, you could ask her to remove them before you punched her.

Go and see her, and tell her that your daughter has 20/20 vision, but you think girls are more attractive in glasses, so she wears ones with plain glass lenses, just for the look.

Well done to daughter for not squealing. A resistance fighter in the making.

Hold her down and tickle her until she apologizes from the bottom of her treacherous heart.

Nah, report her to the Académie! Evil witch. This leaves me speechless.

I think you should explain her gently : maybe she did not think she made anything wrong and will hurt other kid's (or kid's parents') feelings without even noticing it in the future.
And if it does not work, dumdad's option seems fair. Btw, does he also operate in the eastermost part of (inner) Paris ? I have some directeur I would like to have some lessons taught too ;-)

I was asked to remove my glass by my wedding photographer. He said they made me look like the maffia! And I paid good money to get insulted like that!
